Special Observation Towers

International Amusements, in combination with Intamin Amusement rides can make just about any tower a reality. Below are just a few examples of observation towers that have been designed in the past. We are happy to work with you to help design the best, most eye-catching observation tower possible!

Classic and Traditional
Observation Towers have always been a success in parks, giving guests the opportunity to view the surroundings from a breathtaking height. Intamin has developed a wide range of Observation Towers allowing the operators to get a structure with a special design based on their requirements.

Paris Tower
Bring a little romance from the turn of the century into our modern lives. The tower illustrated is 100 m high, but it can be supplied in any height desired.

Sky Tower
The Sky Towers are immense, 122-183 m high observation towers. The glass frontage of the upper platform slants outwards. These towers can be covered with trapezoidal sheet steel if desired. Inside the tower shaft, there are two special elevators which work independently of each other and are automatically controlled. The service stairs are also inside the tower and the elevator drives are placed at the top.

Combi Tower
The Combi Tower is the result of the successful combination of the Hexagonal and Gyro Towers. There are two observation platforms at 88 and 91 m, the latter covered and suitable for use as a restaurant. Two separate passenger elevators serve the Gyro Tower entry platform, where guests enter a panorama cabin which revolves round the slender tower at heights of over 152 m. This sketch shows the Combi Tower type 1, where the Gyro Tower 1200 is fitted onto the Hexagonal Tower.

Hexagonal Tower
The Hexagonal Tower stands on the highest point at Magic Mountain. It has become the landmark of the Theme Park, where every year hundreds of thousands of visitors view the surrounding countryside from its dizzy height. The Hexagonal Tower is clearly visible for miles around, which makes it particularly suitable for effective advertising.

Dolphin Tower
The Dolphin Tower consists of four parabolic A-shaped and conical beam girders, on whose tops a round glass enclosed platform is fixed. The platform can be used as observation deck or be equipped locally as a restaurant. In the center of the tower is the elevator shaft of steel structure for the placement of the elevator equipment. Owing to many windows in the elevator cabin the passengers have an excellent view since the elevator shaft is not closed.
